This question is regarding Redring Expressions 500 9.5kw White (53554001 / 53554015) - Shower Spares

No heat/power

I replaced the main element but after a while the replacement element failed and I only have cold water with power or luke warm water with no power. Is there something else that is causing the main element to fail?

Make sure you are getting 230v into the shower and that the connections are tight as this could cause the problems that you are having.
