500s won't switch off properly

Hi, the shower works as normal until you try and switch it off. It spurts out water intermeditently with the neon lights flashing. Checked the voltage and it seems fine! Only way to turn it off properly is switch off the main isolator.

I think a micro switch is stuck in the on position, this iskeeping one of the elements energised after you have switched off the showerwill keep heating until the Thermal Cur Out (TCO) cuts the power off to theelements, when the shower cools down the TCO will allow the power back to theelements and the whole process starts again.

You will have to find out which switch is causing theproblem and replace it. (On some showers the switch is part of a sub assemblytherefore the complete assembly will need replaced)

Until you get the switch replaced switch the shower on andoff using the isolator switch (pull cord)
