I read your answers as y pulsing shower would not shut off after the button was pushed. I bought the part and changed it. It worked well for 2 days then the pulsing started again. Is the new part faulty as well ?

When you say that the shower would not shut off did you mean that the water continued to flow or did it continue to heat?

If it continued to heat then it is likely that you have a micro switch or relay stuck in the on position.
