Red ring expressions 500s

When turned on my mothers shower pulses on warm but if you turn to medium it flows normally. Yesterday it was switching itself off when on warm for about 10 minutes

You could have a faulty Phased Shut-Down Relay or solenoid. If you have a multi meter you can test the solenoid in its failed state.
