Showering not turning off

I've a Redring 500s and whenever you hit the power button to turn it off the medium light turns off and on and you can it ticking but it won't shut the shower down at all. It just keeps ticking over, the water gets cold as it should. What could be the cause?

The problem is likely to be the , www.showerdoc.com/redring-phased-shut-down-relay-93597878
and replacing it may solve the fault.
