redring 320s micro pressure switch

Are there two types of this switch. I have come across a grey and a black coloured one, both with the same part number on them. But if you try to install the grey one into a shower that originally had a black one fitted it won't work.

I can’t think where this would happen, micro switches arepretty much standard across various manufactures the body may be very slightlydifferent and the connectors may be very slightly different but the basic sizeand shape are the sams as are the fixing holes.

If you have ones that are different then if you were to sendme a couple of photos we may be able to understand what the problem is.
