Creda 550c .

Hi I have just had new shower fitted 5weeks ago I bought it new two years ago as a spare as my original one was 13years old and was also a 550c when you press the button on high water starts coming out within a few seconds it automatically goes to the off button which stars flashing and turns off you can switch it back on straight away and it works few a few seconds after doing this several times it stops on for a couple of minutes before switching off then when switched on again stops on for a couple minutes sometimes then it will not switch off and the ceiling pull cord has to be pulled to cut the power off I have changed the solenoid even though it has only been fitted 5 weeks any ideas please.

Difficult to say for a shower that hasn't been used, however I think you were going in the right direction with the solenoid, but I bet you just replaced the coil, not the complete valve?

Anyway i would just try turning it on and off dozens of times to see if the valve will start working properly, if not then I would replace the complete solenoid valve (if you havent done so already)
