I have a Redring Plus 8S shower heater

We are considering going off grid using a 6.5Kw petrol generator. The Redring would be underpowered. Would it be capable of delivering a warm shower?

If the generator is only capable of producing 6.5kw theshower will try to draw 8kw and therefore pull the fuse down in the generator.

A 6.5kw shower will produce about 4lts per min with a 20° temp rise.
