Similar or same as dolphin selectronic

Is this Redring sel95 shower the same product as the dolphin selectronic? Can the spares be used on the dolphin selectronic? Can it be used as a direct replacement for the dolphin selectronic? Our dolphin selectronic leaks out of bottom of unit when turned on. Repair or replace required.

Yes the Selectronic was rebadged for Dolphin

If there is water leaking from the bottom are you sure that the PRD hasn't activated

I think the Pressure Relief Device (PRD) may have activated.

It’s a safety device on the bottom of the heating tank.

It is fairly easy to replace however there is usually something that causes it to activate, often a kink in the hose or the showerhead is blocked, so check this before fitting the new PRD.
