If when you switch off the shower at the main isolator and the shower keeps running then you have a faulty solenoid.

When you switch off the shower at the main isolator  and the water stops  running, then you have a faulty on/off switch or a faulty PCB or a micro switch that is sticking on.

If it works out that it is the is the PCB that is at fault due to the cost of the PCB you may want to consider just replacing the unit..

Have you resolved it? i have the same problem but i think it is the push bottom that is not going straight into the hole to cut off contact with the board. It is just a piece of rubber that is worn out and softened with the usage. Did you manager to resolve it?
