Asked 11 years ago by Anonymous
Depending on your shower, shut off water and turn off power to the shower. Remove cover.

Disconnect the wiring from solenoid coil and compression nut on solenoid side from mains inlet, (long arm), you will need a replacement olive and nut for the refit.
Undo screw holding bracket over solenoid valve and remove bracket.
Remove solenoid valve.
Keep and reuse "O" ring that should be on the short arm of the valve.
Fit new solenoid valve with nut then olive on long arm and "O" ring on short arm.
Fit back into shower and replace bracket and screw.
Connect up compression nut to mains inlet. Refit wires to coil.
Turn on water slowly and check for leaks.
Refit cover.
Turn on power....if no bangs etc. test shower.

Well done.
