Still Cold after TCO change

So I installed a new TCO I bought from here, great speedy service.

Checked resistance which showed low ohm so all good.

Initial power on to shower (breaker) and the shower power neon came on, even though the power switch was off.

Notice the heater was powered on, heard the boiling noise prior to the TCO cutting out which in turn killed power to neon.

During short power ups to measure, I noticed that the shower stopped turning itself on, when it was switched off. Now if I do actually turn it on, the neon does not come on and heater will not work.

Flow has not changed, but I suspect either the part labelled #6 (Solenoid) on your page http://www.showerdoc.com/creda-aquawave-electric-shower-2009-current-shower-spares but I dont find any details.

Additionally, it maybe the pressure switch, as I measured dead short between all 5 terminals, even when the power is off.

Any ideas?

It sounds like you have a micro switch that is stuck in theon position therefore energising one of the elements all the time.

So as soon as you power up the shower the power goes to oneof the elements and it starts to overheat and the TCO switches the power off tothe element until the unit cools down then it all starts again.

So the first thing you need to do is trace the stickingswitch.
