SafesolDD1 (descale and disinfect) is ideal for this job. The HuwaSan TR3 will disinfect while the mineral acid descales. Ideally showerheads and hoses should be removed and soaked in solution. If this is not possible showers can be directly sprayed with DD1. The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) recommend that shower heads and hoses are descaled at least quarterly.(HSE 274 Part 2)

Applications include:

 

  • Disinfection and descaling of showerheads and thermostatic mixer valves (T.M.V.s) in hard water areas.

 

Benefits include:

 

  • Quick and Easy-Simply spray DD1 on to the shower and leave for 15 minutes and rinse off.
  • Based on HuwaSan TR3 to kill bacteria plus mineral acid to remove scale.
  • Kills legionella bacteria, other bacteria, viruses and mould.
  • Easy and safe to handle with appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
