Combi boiler

We have a Worcester 42CDi combi boiler and a water softener. Incoming mains pressure is about 2.4 bar measured just above the stop cock. Will the Salamander Home Boost pump solve the low flow problem we have on the upper floors. The showers virtually dry up if a ground tap is opened or a toilet is flushed and the tank is filling.

I am afraid that the pump won't help you if you have 2.4 bar from the mains the pump is only rated at 1.5 bar.

The next time you are having the boiler serviced explain the problem and ask the engineer to check the flow rate through the boiler.
