shared supply

Hi I have a shared supply. With the supply going to next door and branching off to us and with dear old Thames Water having reduced the local pressure over the years there are times when if our washing machine (has first call on mains) asks for water we get a reduced flow in our first floor kitchen and sometimes little or none at all in the ensuite toilet in our loft conversion or the cold water tank in the loft. Question is :- is it legal under wras regs to fit one of these pumps to our incoming main and would it be liable to try and suck water out of next doors pipe work. They are on mains for all their water, whereas we have a cold water tank in the remaining loft space.

The pump is compliant with the water regulations

The pump should be fitted as the mains enters your house however you say that you are branched off a main in another house so I am not sure how to answer that, I think the best thing would be for you give Salamander technical a ring 0191 516 2002
