Replacing Shower Pumps

Hi I have a varispeed water pump feeding my shower. it is a 1.2bar gravity fed, I understand this is no longer produced, I would like to replace it but would like to increase the pressure slightly to give a more energetic shower would the Salamander 2.6 bar give me the required result?
