Sorry forgot to fill in star rating in my previous e-mail.
Received the non return valve by return of post from Shower Doctor. The valve did the trick and got my pump working again. The fault had been pulsing on-off of the pump.
I had not found any instructions or clear diagrams of my pump on the web showing exactly how to fit the valve, so I put it in the only place it seemed to fit which was between the hot water output of the pump and the flexible pipe. It simply screws into place.
I expected to have to dismantle the pump but it appears all you do is put it in series with the existing internal faulty non return valve.
