This question is regarding Salamander Pumps 22mm Top Entry Compression Flange

S Flange Slamander 22mm Comp. Top Entry

In order to fit a shower pump into a pre-existing system I need to fit an S Flange. Will the above or any other you suggest fit into/onto the existing hot water cylinder boss currently feeding into 22mm pipework ? or do I need to get 'inside' the hot water tank to make any seal good ?.

All you do is remove the existing connection that goes into the top of the cylinder and screw this in and reconnect to the existing pipe work.
