Burning smell from 1500XT!

Hi there, Burning smell from the shower unit. No pressure through the unit. I guess the motor has burnt itself out? The unit is quite old. Is it cheaper in the long run to purchase a direct replacement? If so, to avoid messing about with wall tiles, does the latest model have the same wall fixing locations? Thanks in advance.

Yes you are correct, it maybe better to replace it.

The replacement is a direct swap, pipes screw holes etc.
