Thermostat

I can no longer get hot water from the shower mixer tap even when the hot water supply pipe is very hot with the internal mixer valve set to maximum temperature. Could this be a thermostat problem?

Strip the valve of the wall and check that the inlet filters are clean.

If they are OK then you will need a new thermostatic cartridge
