Shower pumping alternate hot and cold

Our New Team shower pumps scalding hot and freezing cold water alternately. The water pump seems to be working overtime, and stops and starts. Why might this be the case?

Check the head, hose on the shower and the filters in the pump are not blocked as you seem to have a blockage in your system.
