Mixer tap

The mixer knob is really stiff when switching off? Any suggestions please?

Unfortunately the seal kit for this shower is now obsolete so all you can do is strip it down clean and grease it with silicone grease.

Below is a guide to stripping down the 1500 valve you have a 1400 valve which is not to dissimilar so it may be a help.
