Shower Running Hotter with same pressure

I had trouble with the on/off valve turning off, using your advise I serviced the cartridge but when rebuilding the cartridge I fitting the copper plug all the way home (Does this require setting ?). Since I have done this the shower now turns on ok, but it very hot with the same amount of pressure before. I have checked the water pressure for the hot and cold on the taps for the bath and sink and these are fine. Do you also have a user manual as I can't find one on the internet.

Thanks,

I am afraid no user manual!

When you say the copper plugdo you mean the thermostat?

If so then the stainless pinshould point out.

If you have fitted it thewrong way round then you will have to check that you haven’t damaged any of theteeth on the piston.

To adjust the temperature youwill have to remove the knob securing screw, when the screw is removed waterwill trickle out, to adjust the temperature pass a long thin screwdriver downthe hole where the screw removed screw anti clock wise for hotter clock wisefor cooler, about one turn at a time and allow about 10 secs for temp to settleafter each turn.
