Showerforce BSM not hot

Please can you explain why i'm not getting hot water from the shower. I purchased it about 18 months ago, and it has worked really well until last week, when only cold water was coming through. The hot water is still coming through the mixer hot tap but not the mixer shower. Please help!

It sounds to me that the piston (The part that changes the temp.) could be sticking in side.

 

The first step would be to give it a strip down clean and lube with a silicon lubricant.

however check your guarantee first, I think that this has a 2 year guarantee.
