leaking easiboost

My easyboost which has worked well for 5 years has developed a leak which I think is at the bottom of the unit. The inlet and outlet hoses and connectors seem fine. Pump is still working and the leak is slow but steady and difficult to see or feel. Could it be the inlet plate 'o' ring. Are there 1 or 2 of these on the pump and would replacing these solve the problem or would it be better to replace the whole unit. I haven't taken the unit out as there are no isolation valve on the system.

Yes it could be the inlet plate "O" ring that is at fault, but it may also be a shaft seal, ( unavailable ). There are two inlet plate "O" rings, one at each end and you could change these first to see if the situation improves. If you go down the route of changing the pump I would fit isolation valves on the inlets and outlets.
