My shower runs for a few min. Then slows up and grinds to a halt.If left for a while, same thing happens. Suspect 'motor/pump' assy? My unit says 'Powerforce Regal' on the front and looks very like this one except the 'pressure knob'' is round, knurled. It is probably 20 yrs since I fitted it. Do you think this is the same model? Mine is thermostatically controlled. Could mine be the 'Regal Plus'? What is the difference? I don't want to fit the replacement, only the part as I let this one into the wall and, we are selling the house. Hope you can help......Keith.

As I recollect none of the Regal’s were thermostatic If you send me a photo of the internals I will be able to tell.

It sounds like you need a new motor and pump unit or you may get away with just fitting a new set of brushes to the motor.

We would always advise changing the complete motor and pump unit however the brushes are much cheaper.
