Showerforce victorian mixer - running off a combi

When the shower valve is turned off it is allowing cold to pass through the valve and up the hot pipework causing nearby bath hot tap to lose temp to approx 45deg C. I proved this by removing the shower valve, capping the pipes and the bath hot tap returned to 60plus degrees when opened. Can the valve be repaired by replacing any of the parts, and if so which parts?

This is usually caused by a non return in the hot elbow failing.

You can replace this, switch over the elbows or fit a non return valve to the hot side.
