Leaking shower

My Vienna t shower started off dripping and is now letting out a fair bit of water after a few months. Luckily we are not on a water meter. I have taken it apart and had the cartridge out to check seals and they all looked good but i did notice that the cartridge itself is corroded around where it would seal off against a washer, (which i think is not replaceable as its buried at the bottom of the cartridge) when closed. Would a replacement cartridge be enough to fix the problem?

Yes the cartridge should solve the problem, however it may be worth considering fitting a service kit when you look at the difference on price

There is a video below the kit explaining how to fit it
