just wondered british gas came and said 'shower faulty,cold water passing down hot water pipe',what part do you recomend we change?

Anunusual complaint for this shower.

Howeverthere should be check valves (Part 11) (non return /one way valves) fitted tothe inlet elbows (not every installer remembered to fit them!) if one of thesehas jammed this could be causing the problem.
