This question is regarding Sirrus 1600 cartridge assembly (no thermostat) SK1600-2

Only hot water from Sirrus 1600, unable to cool down

Hi, any advice appreciated. Sirrus 1600 only releases hot water, and you are unable to get cold water out. All dials work correctly. Am I assuming the actual thermostat has gone in this case, or does it just require a new cartridge? I have read the thermostats on these rarely fail?

I would go for a strip down clean lube and fit a service kit

That should solve most problems.
