Knob & Sleeve Kit Exposed

As the exposed kit is no longer available, will the temp knob and flow control from the concealed kit fit?

Itwill physically fit however the knob and sleeve are slightly shorter becausemost of the valve is recessed, the exposed kit is longer because to cover thevalve because more of it is exposed.
