Stratus/1850 dripping fluctating

Is the 1850 model and the Stratus the same?

My shower keeps dripping and the temp goes up and down, any ideas?

Yes the 1850 and the Stratus are the same except the knobs.

You need to give the valve a strip down, clean and lube, then fit a new seal kit.

This will solve the dripping problem and may solve the temperature fluctuation fault.

Regarding the temperature fluctuation, if you are on a combi boiler it could be a faulty cartridge, (Needing serviced) to check this, see if you can get hold of the hot supply pipe before it enters the shower or perhaps as it leaves the boiler.

If when holding this pipe the temperature fluctuates then the problem is not with the shower but more likely with the boiler as the shower can only deliver what the boiler sends to it.
