This question is regarding Sirrus Amethyst BSM4000 cartridge SKAK4000

Bristan Shower dripping

My shower (Bristran Single Control Surface Mounted Shower Valve with Ridge Riser and Diverter to Handset) continues to leak for a few mins after switching it off - it has a large rain shower head - problem id s the same with the handset. The leaver is also moving further to the 1-2oclock when I turn it off. If I replaced the cartridge would that solve the problem? will the Sirrus Bsm4000 Amethyst Carftridge SKAK4000 fit my shower? Part number for my shower cartridge is the same.

Could this be just the water in the head slowly draining out?

 

If not it probably only needs a service kit which is a lot cheaper than a new cartridge.
