Unable to get a cool/cold shower

Hi I have 2 Bramham Victorian showers. one is working fine but the other seems to work in the opposite sense. When the lever is turned from off it starts warm and then goes hotter. More anoying in the summer when you want a cool shower. The other shower starts very cold and gets hotter.

The pipes are connected the correct way. I would be grateful for your help.

Probably just sticking internally

 

Strip down clean lube and fit a service kit should solve anyproblems.

Since purchase have never been able to get really hot shower. Can the factory settings be altered?
