This question is regarding Sirrus Opac TS1503 - Shower Spares

Sirrus TS1503 Thermostatic

I have had the TS1503 from new in the house which is over 10 years old. Recently the shower has been making a very loud noise when in use, pressure and temperature are fine but the noise is loud. Is there any part that needs replacing or do i need a new shower unit.

There are non return valves/filters in the elbows and these could account for the noise if the are dirty or sticking slightly.

Thanks for the reply, how would i change or clean these, can these be bought.

This can happen with this shower when it is operating with uneven pressures, usually low pressure hot and high pressure cold.

My advice is a strip down clean lube and fit a seal kit
