Temperature not hot enough

Every time I turn the shower up to try and make the water hotter the flow almost stops and just dribbles out. Is this a design fault with the shower or can it be rectified.

This could be a few things

First can you check that it is connected Hot to the left and cold to the right.

It could also be blocked inlet filters or check valves in the inlet elbows (If they are fitted, Many plumbers just didn’t bother fitting them!)

The next thing to do would be to strip the valve down and fit a service kit then you would be sure that your valve is working properly.

www.showerdoc.com/sirrus-valve-service-kit-sk1500-1 There is a video below the photo of the kit.

It may be something outside the valve that is causing the problem, but you need to check that the valve is working properly first.
