2 x Carbon Brushes without a brass carrier for use with Syntech motors.
Important Information
PLEASE NOTE:
These carbon brushes will only fit motors that don't have the spring loaded brass carrier with wire terminal spade connector attached, these brushes slide in to the motor and a spring holds it in place. For the other brush with carrier you need to use part number HYDR-01102. If you are not certain if these are the correct brushes for your model of shower, then please contact our sales team.
This is not common however, on occasions we have found the manufacturer has changed the size of the carbon brush by millimeters. To rectify this all you need to do is shave a little off the brush for it to fit into the carrier on the motor.
Some of the usual signs for determining whether the carbon brushes are worn are listed below
- Interference with your TV or Radio when shower is in operation.
- Grinding noises from the motor when in use.
- The springs in the brass brush carrier are being exposed in the motor.
- If the units stops and starts.
- If the unit stops mid flow and tapping the shower starts it again.
- Turning the knob from left to right and the shower starts again.
- Black carbon deposit inside the shower
