This question is regarding Vado Temperature cartridge - CEL-RETROFIT/B

on your web site you state vado wax cartridge cel-001b/b wax is discontinued but that cel-retrofit/b will replace

but there is no thread on this cartridge to hold in valve as the plastic part shown some thing to do with this

cannot give you modle number of valve nothing on valve but your

picture of valve vado wax cartridge is the one my shower ?

This is the response from Vado,

The CEL-RETROFIT/B is indeed a direct replacement for the CEL-001B/B-WAX thermostatic cartridge.

 

We have been using these now for well over twelve months and indeed all valves produced across our ranges now have these polymer cartridges (or a variant thereof) installed within them.  The CEL-RETROFIT/B is held into the body of the valve by means of a grub screw through the body of the valve and into the cart itself.  The cart is simply pushed direct into the body of the valve and then secured as per aforementioned.

 

I have attached for your information installation instructions which are sent out with each and every cartridge.
