Thermostatic Cartridge (Plastic) Saneux 2001008 - CART-1010

I have saneux 2 way shower mixer , it is about 10 year old and need to replace thermostatic valve on it. I contacted Saneux and their newer is called Saneux COS Thermostatic Shower Valve mixer looks very similar to one I have. Will the new plastic cartridge be compatible with the older mixer that is made of brass.. attached are pictures
