will this fit inside a NewTeam 201 Manual power shower

I have just been advised that there are no valve seals or service kits available for my old newteam 201 (manual shower). There is a persistent drip from the shower head when the shower is off. There is also some weeping at the base of the main toothed part of the mixer valve, which becomes a stream when the shower is on. The parts where the water supply enters the pump are dry, suggesting an internal seal has failed. Is it possible to upgrade my manual shower to a thermostatic one, by replacing the manual cartridge by this part? Do the Newteam 201, 1000 and 1500 series all use the same thermostatic cartridge, - if so, could I take one from inside a spare complete valve unit? If either option is feasible, then I would appreciate any pointers on how to remove my original cartridge - I enclose a picture for your study.

The leak is usually caused by the discontinued parts above. Replacing the cartridge will not solve the problem.
A replacement shower is usually the answer .
