Shower heads

Are all the shower heads standard fitting. Will they fit another trevi shower slider rail and holder.

I have a trevi shower that was fitted about 8-10 years ago but it needs a new head and hose. I dont want to replace the slider rail with the shower holder on as it is fixed to tiles. I dont know what model the old shower is and wondered if any trevi hose and head will fit.

Not all heads and hoses are the same.

But most hoses will fit in slider brackets from the same manufacturer.
