Having replaced boost cartridge

I have just purchased the cartridge from you.The temperature of the hot water will not increase to temperature of that it was before the failure of the orginal cartrigde. Control only turns to setting 3 no all the way to 5. Have checked the gate valves for hot and cold they are both open fully

If the control only goes to number 3 then it has not been fitted correctly and is limiting the hot water produced.

Is there a way to line up the cartridge to make sure is fitted correctly. The plumber say's he replaced it the same way as he removed it.Have ordered the 2 half inch cartridges and the clutcth assembly at his request

The temperature handle if correctly fitted will go through the whole range , all the way to 5.
