Trevi Boost Built-In Mains Pressure Shower Valve And Elipse Biv Shower Kit Shower Valve

Hi

My shower is about 10 years old and when turned off it has started dripping. If you continue to turn the water supply knob to the right it sometimes stops. Can you please tell me what parts are required to stop the water from dripping.

Thanks

There two cartridges one for the hot and one for the cold there can be two reasons for the gears not turning one is that the gears have become worn and don’t have enough grip to turn the on/off cartridges.

However the more common fault is that one of the cartridges has become tight and will not turn easily.

If you remove the centre spindle and use your fingers on the gears to turn the cartridges on and off you can often tell that one is tightening up.

If you are replacing the flow cartridges then it is advisable to replace both
