This question is regarding Trevi ctv- extended lever built-in - Shower Spares

Water passing through control valve when off.

The shower valve is allowing cold water to pass through and into the hot water system with the valve in the off position. It is a high pressure balanced system and the problem only occurs when a hot outlet is opened elsewhere in the property.

The shower has a faulty , www.showerdoc.com/ideal-standard-ctv-check-valve-a954738 which needs replaced, there are two of these , one at each inlet , so you may want to replace both.
