This question is regarding Trevi Ctv Thermostatic Valve Exposed Shower Valve Spares

Trevi CTV dribbles

Trevi CTV dribbles for ages when turned on: by turning the temperature handle back and forth with a bit of anti-clockwise pressure the shower will eventually flow properly. Will replacing the 'Volume Control Handle Geared Carrier' & 'Temperature Adjustment Carrier' resolve this or will I probably need a Thermostatic Cartridge as well?

Check the filters on the thermostatic cartridge first and if these are fine then have a look at the washer on the item below,

it may need changed.
