Trevi Shower Bracket

Hi the bit that holds my shower head needs to be tightened as the bracket is no longer holding it at a high enough angle. I am trying to work out how to get the cover off to get to the nuts that allow me to do this but it's not obvious how that happens or whether I'm doing the right thing (I don't want to apply too much force in case I break it). Can you help? If I have to replace the shower head holder completely, I can't even see how I would get it off the bracket as it's attached to the wall at both ends. It was installed many years ago so I'm not sure if it's scale which is gluing it in place. Thanks, Megan

The cover should pull down to expose the screws.
