Temperature setting

I have a trevi therm shower that was installed in 1994 but never used. It works off the combi gas boiler. When I tried to use it the other day the water temperature could not be controlled. It was boiling hot. Which part do I need to change

You will need to check that the flow valves are opening and that the filters on the thermostatic cartridge are clear.
