trevi therm update
Here's my assessment.
On off control. Very stiff. Does operate but can continue to turn spindle on valve clockwise. This is made apparent by the stiffness of the valve on rotation. If the valve rotated freely you wouldn't try to exert any further force once the flow had stopped.
so a freely rotating on/off valve is required.
Next grey plastic device under chrome knob is damaged. Chrome knob appears loose as a result. Can tweak and it does operate. But grey gubbins needs replacing. Is this a separate part?
Finally client would like a replacement head. Pic attached. Can you price for me pls.
If you feel there is a problem with the on/off control then the best option is to replace both on / off cartridges and the gears (Which includes the clutches)
If it is as I suspect the newer model then this is the carrier for the temperature control knob.
