Temperature adjustment carrier

The temperature handle on my Trevi traditional shower is not effectively adjusting the temperature. It turns very easily through 180* either side, but only makes a small adjustment. It feels like it is not engaging properly. Do I need a new Temperature adjustment carrier? I have had fitted two new 1/4 turn cartridges you supplied and they are working well. The plumber says can fully adjust from hot to cold before fitting the handle. Thank you very much for your excellent service.

The carrier is just that a carrier! and they don't really ware.
