Shower Head Suitability

The shower Head to my Triton T80Z has broken, I bought a non Triton head as a quick replacement and it works poorly i.e. little power compared to original head - Need to get proper efficient head as they don't seem to all work efficiently - Is this a true replacement for my T80Z electric shower.

The poor performance will be down to the shower not having enough water pressure to run the Led’s in the shower head, in turn this will be causing back pressure to the shower unit.

Back pressure normally would cause the pressure relief device (PRD) to activate after a certain amount of time and then need replaced: Water will be running out of a tube or outlet at the bottom of your shower if the PRD is activated.

For replacement pressure relief devices (PRD) please visit www.showerdoc.com where you can find all the up to date spares diagrams for all makes and models of shower units.

Most manufacturers state that none original manufactures equipment (OME) CAN or WILL cause the shower not to operate in the correct manner, faults may occur and any warranty left with the shower will be void.

Any of the OEM Triton7000 series showerheads in this link provided will be suitable for your TritonT80Z electric shower - http://www.showerdoc.com/shower-accessories/shower-heads/triton
